A gelding Allywag Hanover paced in 1:46 and a four-year-old colt Rockyroad Hanover paced in 1:46.2 who was also a closing second (from post 9) in the world record 1:45.4 mile of Bulldog Hanover. By far, Captaintreacherous is the richest son of champion stallion Somebeachsomewhere with $3,153,541 in earnings.  

His progeny are on fire all round the world. 

In North America Captaintreacherous has 543 eligible to race, 467 raced, 364 race winners with over $61,000,000 in progeny earnings as of 1st January 2023. His starters have average earnings of $136,976. His average earnings per foal born that are eligible to race is $94,343. He has 165 winners of over $100,000 and 24 over $500,000. These are incredible numbers remembering that there have only been five crops to the races. He has already produced two super sons at stud, Captain Crunch from his first crop and the brilliantly bred Capt Midnight from his second crop. These two sons have had full books each and every season in North America and Down Under. 

In North America in 2022 Captaintreacherous was the leading money winning two-year-old sire with $4,099,344 from his 88 starters, with average earnings of $46,583.

In Australia Captaintreacherous has only three crops racing with 277 old enough to race, 178 starters and 130 winners. His total progeny earnings to date is $7,706,356 for an average earnings per starter of $43,294 and an average earnings per foal eligible to race of $27,820. His progeny in Australia have stunned the experts with the sensational boys Captain Ravishing, The Lost Storm, Catch A Wave and the fillies Encipher ($531,499), Tough Tilly ($561,633), Jewel Melody ($317,094) and Treachery ($285,799) and remembering that Captaintreacherous has only three crops to the races. In Australia in 2022, Captaintreacherous was the leading money-winning three-year-old sire with average earnings of $34,351, once again heading off the champion stallion Bettor’s Delight who had average earnings of $29,315 with his three-year-olds.
