NZ Cup winner Swayzee bred by Paul Kahlefeldt.

Swayzee (Rock N Roll Heaven- Lettucereason), who was bred by Paul Kahlefeldt’s of Redbank Lodge Standardbreds, based in Wagga Wagga came to Christchurch to take on the might of the Kiwis in the New Zealand Trotting Cup and as Julius Ceasrer wrote Veni, Vidi Vici “I came I saw I conquered.

Swayzee found the front after half a lap of the Addington circuit and was never headed in a mile rate of 1-58.9 over the two miles from a standing start.

Lettucereason, the dam of Swayzee and also Inter-dominion favourite Leap To Fame is by Art Major from the great broodmare Left For Me, by Fake Left from the Lordship mare Our Lady Delwin, whose family is extensively represented in Australia. It includes top horses such as For A Reason (Victoria Cup and successful sire), exciting filly Jewel Melody, Maximus Red, Waldenburg (NSW Simpson Sprint), Montana Moonlite, Hot Shot Woman and many others.

Lettucereason  after missing in 2020 and 2021 has a current weanling filly by American  Ideal.
