Filly by Ride High will attract attention.

The annual Australian Pacing Gold Yearling Sales will kick off at the Magic Millions, Gold Coast on January 28. The entry totals 84 yearlings and breeders from Queensland and NSW are represented.

The sale will see the first crop of North American Cup and breeders Cup champion Tall Dark Stranger he is represented by two colts, the fast son of Captaintreacherous Capt. Midnight who has a filly and two colts catalogued while former Australasian Breeders Crown champ Ride High is represented by Lot 31 a filly from a unraced mare Gleniss Mamma.

Gleniss Mama is a half-sister to WA Oaks winner Our Major Mama 1.55.6.

The third dam of this filly, Karen Donna is the dam of Cash And Flow (42 wins and $694, 235) and former Australian two-year-old filly of her year Katy Perry who in her juvenile year took out the Australasian Breeders Crown.

The filly is eligible for the Breeders Crown, Vicbred, Qbred and Bathurst Gold Crown and is prepared by New South Welsh identity Joanne Anderson.

Anderson described the filly as a very quick learner, She went on to add “  she is strong and correct filly who has been easy to work with”

Another New South Welsh breeder Micheal Taylor has four yearlings to go under the hammer at the Gold Coast  the one of Taylors draft that is likely to creature the most interest is a  half-brother to Jewel Melody the triple group 1 winner who claimed the Bathurst Gold Tiara and Australian Gold as a two-year-old then came back as a three-year-old to win the Qbred Final also at Group 1.
