“I finished studying at Massey University in Palmerston North in 1973. It was the only university in New Zealand where you could do equine studies.
Once I completed the course, I came to Australia to do equine surgery at Melbourne University. It was supposed to be for a year, and I’m still here. I then continued with a Private Equine Referral at Werribee until I retired at 70, seven years ago.”
